ProfitPilot is an independent tool by Ukwebtools (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Who is the data controller?

What we collect

• Account information: email address (and authentication metadata) used for login via Supabase.
• Access & entitlement data: trial start time, PRO/unlock status, and limited counters used to prevent abuse.
• Reviews you submit: name (optional), rating, category, and message. Reviews may be displayed publicly.
• Technical data: basic logs necessary for security and reliability (e.g., timestamps, request metadata).

What we don’t collect

• We do not store your card/bank details (payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout).
• We do not connect to your marketplace accounts or pull order data from eBay/Etsy/Amazon.
• We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.

How we use your information

• To provide login, trial access, and PRO unlocking.
• To operate the calculator features and keep the service stable.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse of free/trial features.
• To publish reviews where you choose to submit them.
• To respond to support requests.

Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

• Contract: to provide the service you request (accounts, access, features).
• Legitimate interests: to prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability.
• Consent (where applicable): for optional actions such as submitting a public review.

Reviews are public

If you submit a review, it may be displayed publicly on the Reviews page. Avoid including personal, confidential, or sensitive information in your review text. If you want a review removed, contact support.

Third-party services

• Supabase: authentication and database hosting for accounts, entitlements, and reviews.
• Payment provider (shown at checkout): processes payments, may calculate/apply VAT/taxes, and issues receipts.

International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK/EEA (for example, where their infrastructure is located). We use reputable providers and rely on appropriate safeguards where required (such as standard contractual clauses).

Data retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for security and compliance.
• Entitlement data (trial/PRO): retained as long as needed to enforce access and prevent abuse.
• Reviews: retained until removed by you (via request) or by us (e.g., moderation or legal reasons).

Cookies and analytics

ProfitPilot does not intentionally use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy. Some essential cookies/local storage may be used by authentication or the application to function (e.g., session management).

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including secure authentication, access controls, and encryption where supported by our providers. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email support@ukwebtools.com.

Children

ProfitPilot is intended for adults/business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
